What areas of the country do you cover and would you be willing to travel?

I am based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire with my wedding photography service covers the whole of the UK, mainly focusing on the South East of England with London and the Home Counties – Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

I am more than happy to travel, some recent locations have included York, Newcastle, Wales, Norfolk and further afield to Italy and California.


What is your wedding photography style?

I would describe my wedding photography style as natural relaxed and pretty, lots of light with soft vintage style colours.
I like to include a good mixture of natural reportage photography with couples portraits, group shots and details ~ all together giving the best view of your day. Please do check out my gallery section and blog for lots of recent wedding photographs.


How long is your photography coverage?

I currently have four different day rates available… Half a day which is 3-4hours, two different three-quarter day rates either bridal prep to the speeches or ceremony to the first dance. Finally I have a full day rate to cover bridal prep all the way through to the first dance.


What are included in the wedding photography package?

My one simple package includes… A USB of high resolution fully edited photographs, Venue Visit with a mini shoot {to get you used to having your photo taken, like a mini engagement shoot} and a private online gallery holding all the photographs, available to purchase as prints or downloads.

This package is then available in four different day rates… Half day, 2x three quarter days and a full day coverage.
Optional Extras include… Books, Albums, Thank-you cards, additional USBs and personalised postage stamps.


What albums/books do you have available?

I have a lovely selection of Coffee Table books and British Made Albums, in a superb range of colours and styles with Soft Leathers and Plush Suedes with optional embossing, photo in-lays or matts. The books are available in hardback or soft bound with picture wraps, all albums and books are optional and available as an extra to my package… see a sneak peek over on my Prices page.


How many wedding photographs would I receive on the USB?

I do happily snap away throughout the day and for a full day rate you can expect between 800-1000 photographs on the USB, all high-res and fully edited.


Will I get the option of colour or black and white wedding photographs?

I photograph in colour and then present a lovely mixture of image in colours and black+white, I go with what each picture looks best as and how the style suits your day. However if you prefer all colour or all black+white I can accommodate this too.


Who owns the copyright to the wedding photographs, can I print my own?

Of course with the USB you can share the images and print your own photographs directly from there, the photographer always retains the copyright which means you cannot sell them on to third parties, but I happily give you the permission to personally print as you wish.


What if my family and friends want prints from the wedding day?

That’s OK you can share and print images for them from your USB for free or they can view and purchase prints directly from your online gallery, prints are available from the gallery from just £4.


Will you arrange the group shots at the wedding if we wanted?

Of course I am more than happy to arrange any group photographs that you’d like, on our venue visit we can find a perfect spot and layout for them. I like to make them relaxed and cuddly, if we can add in some amazing backdrops and props that will make for some extra brilliant photos!


What happens if it rains on the wedding day?

Not a problem – I have photographed lots of wedding where it has rained, I have umbrellas and wellies for the Bride {Long pink hunter ones or short cute cream Mellissa ones} so we can still have fun shots outside. During the summer months it is usually just a shower so we can switch things around and do the outside photographs later in the day.

Otherwise we can always find somewhere inside ~ whether that be to pop back inside the church {the pews make great places for the group shots} or inside your reception venue ~ it will all be decorated beautifully so there are lots of options.


What equipment does Rebecca Wedding Photography own?

I have three top professional Canon Digital SLRs, two to use on the day and one as an extra backup, along with several Canon prime and zoom lenses… not to mention a ton of CF cards, camera flashes, studio lighting and backdrops for the photo booth {looking into a wind machine for the booth at the moment too, very excited about that}…I also have a few film, polaroids and lomography cameras which I sometime pop into the mix.


Does Rebecca Wedding Photography have insurance?

Yes I have very comprehensive insurance which covers all my equipment, liability and professional indemnity – you can request 
to see confirmation of this at anytime after your booking.


How do we make a wedding photography booking?

You can pop me an email via my contact page filling in your details, wedding date and requirements, then I can confirm if I am available for your chosen date. Next I will send you a price list for you to look over and then if you are happy to continue I will arrange a lovely little meeting with you to show you my portfolio and samples.

During this meeting I will give you a booking form so you can decide whether you’d like to make a confirmed booking, if you are happy to proceed all you need to do is fill out the form and include a £200 deposit to secure the date.

When all paperwork and deposit is received I will send you a signed confirmation for your records.


Will we get to meet you before the wedding day?

Yes, I like to meet up at least twice before your wedding day, once for you to view my portfolio, samples and to have a good chat about your day and options. Then again after your booking to catch up and go and view your wedding venue {usually 3-4 weeks before the big day} this is to check and test out some photographic opportunities and locations, also to have a little mini shoot to get you used to having your photo taken with me!


What happens if we cancel or want to change the date of our wedding?

On the very rare occasion that you might have to cancel or adjust your confirmed wedding date I have a very simple and fair system in place. Should a cancellation happen after a booking unfortunately loose the deposit, if I can fill the date I will refund 50% of the amount paid.

If a cancellation were to happen within three months of the wedding date a 70% payment will be required as it is very unlikely that another booking could be found this close to the wedding date.

If rescheduling is necessary your deposit can be transferred to your selected date and no fees will be applied.
